The food was good, the service was great. Wagyu salami was smokey and paired well with the truffle cheese ($16 for 2 choices of meat and cheese)
The Brussel sprouts ($16) was different, it was over beet Hummus. The salmon was ok ($32), but the vegetables (mushrooms and bokchoy) that came with it had a lot of flavor. Bone marrow was amazing (just to me). My friends are not a fan, but I am a bone marrow snob ($18). Bread was good. Truffle fries were ok ($14), but you get a huge portion. My friend got the arugula and beet salad but sub Spinach. It was good. I had the orange ginger mocktail($7), and it was delicious. The elderberry martini was good, too. Our server suggested it with a lemon sugar rim! ($16) It was delicious. Everything came out to $193 with 20% tip.
Such a great experience all around. The definition of feeling wined and dined. All the staff were helpful and kind. Food was delicious, though I wished for a little more shrimp and grits…they were that good. Drinks were great too. These people know what they are doing and do it well!
Great place and vibes if you are coming to explore Red Rocks Amphitheatre or for a concert. Plenty of (paid) street parking and as well as a (paid) parking lot. Service is fast and the staff is super friendly and nice! Food is delicious. Drinks are okay but maybe it was just my drink (Watermelon margarita). The outdoors seating area looks over plenty of goats and a decent size artificial waterfall. (See pics attached)
The place gets super packed so try to come before peak hours. Overall, I wouldn't mind visiting again! Great overall experience!
Enjoyed a delightful lunch experience! The charcuterie board was refreshing, the burger remarkably tender, and the beignets were delicious. We'll definitely be returning!
The Hungry Goat Scratch Kitchen and Wine Bar is a delightful gem that has left a lasting impression on me. From the moment I stepped through the door, I was greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere that set the stage for an exceptional dining experience.
The food at The Hungry Goat is nothing short of amazing. The shrimp and grits and the paella were both outstanding, showcasing the chef's expertise in creating dishes bursting with flavor and creativity. The attention to detail in each dish was evident, and I found myself savoring every bite. The specialty cocktails further elevated the experience, each sip delivering a burst of delicious, well-crafted flavors.
The ambiance of the restaurant is equally impressive. The decor exudes a charming and cozy vibe, adding to the overall appeal of the place. I can only imagine how wonderful it would be to enjoy the outdoor waterfall in warmer weather, as it sounds like a truly picturesque setting.
In addition to the fantastic food and atmosphere, the service at The Hungry Goat was outstanding. The staff were attentive, friendly, and added to the overall enjoyment of my visit. Their professionalism and warmth truly enhanced my dining experience.
In conclusion, The Hungry Goat Scratch Kitchen and Wine Bar has won me over, and I am eager to return many times in the future. Whether it's for a special occasion or a casual night out, this restaurant has left a lasting impression, and I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a memorable dining experience.
My sister and I ran across this gem of a restaurant last weekend while I was in Denver for her birthday. We decided to run up to Red Rocks since I’ve never been there. As we came into Morrison we decided to stop for lunch. We parked across …
Great location, I was really excited to try the food since I found this place in google as a top rated spot. Unfortunately my experience was not a good one. We were seated and expected to order immediately, we ask the person if they could …
So happy we found that place! The food is a firework in the mouth. My Brussels sprouts in a beet hummus were out of this planet. Our service Dave was super attentive and fantastic!
